Id been hearing about Collective Thread for a while and the small batch manufacturer I was using had recently shut its doors. Terri was so accommodating - she made me a sample that was perfect and then delivered my PO early and hand delivered it to me! They have a wonderful mission, and a sincere interest in seeing local brands thrive. Terri even let me store my extra fabric and supplies in her facility. Dont hesitate to give these guys a call, theyll blow you away with great service

Very disappointed after with working with The Collective Thread. As local women trying to start a small business clothing brand, working with them seemed to be a no brainer -- it allowed us hands on time and face to face interaction. After 6+ months of working together and paying in full upfront, we were finally presented with incomplete products. The product development employee working on our project, suddenly left their job. Although we were told that another employee could handle finishing the work -- months later we were told that it was too much of a challenge to finish and that this was the best we were going to get. When we spoke up and said that we weren't satisfied with incomplete work and had asked for a portion of our money back, we were met with a resounding no and then told that we had caused frustration, delays and that we hadn't paid ENOUGH for what we had gotten and we should be happy with what we received. We were also told that since we decided not to manufacture with this company (the prices were too high and we couldn't afford to) they had told us that they should have charged us way more for the product development. The communication of policies, charges and fees for this business is completely unclear. The communication in general is very unclear. If you choose to work with them, make sure that you know up front what you are paying for and what you are getting.

Terri Stipanovich and Caitlyn Williams have shown amazing professional, creativity, and artistry in taking our project to the next level. So appreciative of their expertise in design and manufacturing. Jennifer DeLaney, PAPR Force
