Avenue Restaurant

This restaurant is the best place Ive ever been because of the amazing steak and elite peppercorn sauce. Also the service was great, the bartender was funny and made me a special cocktail, the waiters were kind and helpful (shout out to Michael, Meredith, Makesh, Vicky and Claudia ) for making our night amazing. As well as all this the chef even came out to check that we liked it. Kid-friendliness: Their waiters were nice to my kid

There are a few things that are important to me at a restaurant. First, a delightful cocktail or a very nice glass of wine-Avenue does not disappoint. I love a white bordeaux or burgundy and they have it. Occasionally I will have a cocktail and Michael takes great pride in his cocktail list. Second, a consistent menu that I know that if I ordered it before and liked it, I will again. This time I had the flounder and it was delicious and the leftovers were so good! Third, great service. Their waitstaff is excellent-their people are sincerely nice and take pride in what they do. Love them! Some reviews mentioned price-all really good restaurants are not going to be cheap. In comparison to others in Clayton that are this caliber charge more than Avenue. Avenue is definitely one of our favorites!

Chef Bryan is the real deal. He is deeply schooled in classical French technique and devoted to local sourcing and seasonal menus. Above all, Chef is humble and sincerely devoted to providing outstanding hospitality. Micheal behind the bar is a sort of sorcerer. His seasonal cocktails are inventive and expertly crafted.

Meredith was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious! Had the potato gnocchi and then braised brussel sprouts. You cannot go wrong with the flavor and the passion put in the food. Service is top notch! The menu is for those who have a more refined pallet for something other than a burger or pizza
