        Hot tub broke. Booooo

        Livid with the valet service! They broke our push button start on our car and will not fix it due to it being too old. Absolutely worst service ever. I would never go back there. In fact I might swear off Hiltons if this is who they partner with. Now were stuck with the bill.

        We were looking for a family friendly hotel in downtown St Louis. This hotel fit the bill but we were underwhelmed. I wasn't bothered by the knicks and banged up furniture in a family hotel. But we booked indicating we had a baby and there was no bathtub, just a shower. Very poor water pressure in the shower and the sinks. We did have a pack n play in our room but without proper bedding--they wrapped a down blanket around the mattress. We removed to ensure safe sleep and found the mattress covered in stains and God knows what. The refrigerator didn't get cold. The ice machine was broken. Only one garbage can for a 2 bedroom suite (not ideal for dirty diapers). We tried out the pool and the hot tub had no water in it- no warning or signs it was closed. In the pool area, the towels were all bath mat style towels--not designed to use to dry off. At the evening reception, the bartender said we had to get juice/lemonade for the kids at the dispensers. But they were all turned off/out of drinks. We told the staff and the response was "yes we know". In the morning, no luggage carts to be had and my husband had to take about 4 trips back and forth to the third floor. While he did that my 3 year old and to use bathroom but there is only a single unisex one in lobby, it was occupied the entire time we were waiting. Kudos to the omelet maker at breakfast--he did a great job and received a nice tip! We also appreciated the free adult beverages at the reception. This hotel could be very nice with a few simple improvements. But for now, not worth the money.
