Barnes Jewish Hospital Psychiatric Care

I am truly thankful for this facility. My daughter was here a few weeks ago. She was struggling with many things. They cannot totally fix everything however there job is to get them stable enough to leave. They did do this for my daughter and her social worker was very compassionate and always listened. She was not perfect upon release but is seeing her psychiatrist regularly and switching her meds has helped tremendously. She is doing good right now. We have struggled with many psych wards and I have to say this is one of the best ones.

I never got back all my stuff from security, Karen the tech that went through my stuff I'm not sure if she kept it but Ms Alma and Jennifer at 273-0070 promise to call me back and never do. It's so sad . They acted like they cared but just make promises and don't keep them . The final was Jennifer after two Weeks of me calling her several times a day , didn't review the footage and just said that she couldn't prove I didn't have my things. Ms Alma ended up just lying too saying she's going to call me back but failed to. I couldn't be more disappointed with this outcome ! My things were priceless. My fiance passed away 6-10-21 and in those items were many of her things. Some more my best friend gave me, and my dad's tools. I was even told by another staff member about two weeks ago that Jennifer did review the tape and she was reimbursing me . How can I be reimbursed for those items?!? They will never know the burden they put on me for over a month of them promising me and just to lie to me. I'm truly heartbroken and pray this doesn't happen to anyone else. If it weren't for the countless other blessings God has bestowed upon me like giving me a bed at Saint Patrick's center I'd be on the streets. I don't use drugs or drink and I see people doing so all the time here . I'm blessed to not have to be that person and pray they get help. Thanks for listening Google!

I came in there suicidal and depressed and trying to fix my bipolar and schizophrenia problems and the psychiatrist told my husband I wasn't bipolar schizophrenic and I wasn't depressed when I was!! Clearly the doctors don't care about the patients and neither do the staff they were prepared to take me off all my meds because they said all I had was a personality disorder when I have a long history of these illnesses as it is she only saw me once undecided that I wasn't that mentally clearly just doctor was a quack her name begins with a c her last name I mean

My husband was here.. he felt DR. Trillo actually cared and wanted to help. Nursing staff was great too. When i called they got him right away.. when i went to visit the security was right there to walk me up. Thanks for all your help! Im glad to have my husband back to a healthy mental state again!
