Hi ML, thanks for your thoughtful comment. We appreciate your opinion and agree, organic ingredients are an important aspect of the healthy eating discussion. Please understand we exist to make fresh food accessible in our neighborhood and sometimes have to make decisions on whether to buy commercially or not at all. It's definitely not an option we have a lot of control over.Because City Greens also supports a localized food system we cannot always source ginger or other products locally, since we are bound by the growing season. Local and wild ginger is definitely coming soon though!!! We try our best to source from farms that use sustainable practices even if they aren't certified organic by the USDA. Many of our products come from farms in the Known & Grown directory!Again, thank you for the thoughtful comment. We take it to heart and will consider your feedback in future decisions.
