School policies are stuck in the 90s. Almost every teacher is a carbon copy of the one in the room next to them. Lack of empathy among the staff. Mistreatment of those needing ADA. Half school days, yes, every day is a half day. Staff will put kids in physical danger, actually lost my kids for over 30 minutes and found them just over a mile away ON MANCHESTER. McCann told them to walk home without my permission, or anyone's permission. Teachers are not required to go over quizzes or tests to help students learn from their mistakes and are not required to show corrections for homework either. Staff has no regard for children's emotional needs or set backs. This school is actually a year behind public schools academically. Meaning math taught in 2nd grade at SLPS is taught in 3rd here.
