Main Street Deli

I do not know what people are complaining about with past comments. First time visit - I had a variation of a ham sub (started with a "V") and a cup of the potato soup. This hit the spot on a particularly chilly day. The bread was perfect as were the ingredients. All the vegetables were crisp and crunchy. The soup was amazing. The lady making my order (approx 1:10pm 11/30/16) was extremely pleasant, and nice. Will be returning if I pass through town again.

I walked in on a Tuesday at noon on the dot. There was one person eating at a table, and two people who just stopped by to say hello. I ordered a Kansas City sandwich from a very nice woman at the counter. I was disappointed that the bread is the same kind I usually buy at the grocery store, especially when I realized that my sandwich was $8 with no sides or chips. There was a gentlemen in the back room kind of yelling at the woman helping me, and when he came up front to ring me up, he seemed fairly disappointed that I declined a tea to go with my sandwich (I don't like tea). Overall, the sandwich is overpriced for something I could have made at home and the service was pretty awkward, I wouldn't go back.

Wow..ate lunch today at Main Street Deli, had the Kansas City on Sourdough, what a great sandwich with tons of meat. The ice tea brewed daily, what a way to quench your thirst on such a beautiful day. WHAT A GREAT PLACE TO EAT ON MAIN STREET. Oh and to Sveta Warren you really need to take a look at your GRAMMER before putting down a Deli or any dullness or person... (Me and my daughter) should be (My daughter and I) but I can go on and on. I'll recommend Main Street Deli to everyone else that I know and then some...

Fortunately we did not actually eat at this place because I would have regretted giving them my money. We had a group of two families and happened to be right by this restaurant when it started pouring outside. Somebody went to go get our van and while we waited for a few minutes, we stood just inside this place. We did not go anywhere but the front and there was only one couple in the entire place. The lady working, I assume the owner, told us we had to leave since we weren't buying anything from her. We tried to explain that we were simply waiting for a few minutes inside from the storm (pouring and lightening) and she just said well the rain was not her fault and we needed to leave. As I was trying to usher my two girls out, she was trying to coral us and started yelling that she needed to get her sign to close soon. I have never had such a rude experience in my life and was sad that my kids had to see this as well. I will definitely never go there to eat.
