Best Western Plus The Charles Hotel

Rooms: Room was very clean and organized when we arrived.

I checked in Friday April 5th and checked out today Sunday April 7th. When walking in to room 207, Instantly I noticed a weird odor also, Whenever I stay at any hotel I ALWAYS check the mattresses to make sure they are clean. Upon checking our mattress I found a HUGE spot of what can only be described at blood. It literally took up the center of the underside of the mattress. We went to the front desk and the gentleman offered to move us, and disagreed without looking of course that it was blood. He gave us a new key and told us to check out the new room we went and looked at the mattresses in the new room (202) and they werent much better. So we stayed in our nasty room with the nasty mattress. Just didnt sleep on the nasty thing and was quite uncomfortable all weekend on only 1 mattress. I dont know how you all could make it right, but I and my daughters ball team have reservations there already for a couple weeks from now that was previously booked. We will all rebook if this isnt made right. Thanks, Brandi Noteworthy details: Blood (or something similar) on mattresses

The hotel is good for the price. Very clean on the inside and the staff is great. The pool is nice and deep. The only downside with the hotel is the gym is almost nonexistent.

It's so comfortable and the staff is so friendly. Breakfast was clean and the food was great. We stay here whenever we are in st charles! See you in a few months.
