CSM Construction

4 Years ago we had a house fire, and CSM was our contractor for restoration. The charged us a mint for packaging our belongings, those that they didn't take and said they had no retaliation of. Two years later to current, there is a leak in the ceiling of our living room. They seem like people you could trust in the time of your life were you had nothing but they ended up being thrives.

Wow! They are awful!!! This company was great at pack out after our house fire. That is where it stopped being great. The quality of fire restoration was pitiful. They did not seal all surfaces appropriately. The doors have visible gaps within the frame. They did not account for the brick damage. Their workers did shoddy work on the flooring, the kitchen cabinets (that we paid a large amount to upgrade), the bathroom finishes. They were unresponsive to concerns. We received a call from another customer who had received my wifes jewelry!!! We recovered the jewelry, but CSM took no accountability!! They had no accounting for the work we had done vs the work the company had done! I would NEVER use the. Or recommend them again. They ruined our brand new , beautiful kitchen cabinets- I had to refuse to let them fix them. Our insurance company was amazing and willing to fire them based n their reporting and requests for reimbursement. They had to be told about wet, squeaky flooring repeatedly! DONT USE THEM!!! EVER!!! CMS was recommended by my State Farm agent after we experienced water damage. I called and was told to contact Cody. He told me they were too busy and to contact him for the construction phase. I called him again for an estimate and at least 4 appointments were rescheduled last minute. They came for an appointment over two weeks ago and I gave them the State Farm estimate. I was told that I would have the revised estimate by Thursday (appointment was Tuesday). I followed up that Friday and was told that he was busy and that I would have the estimate by early the following week. That week went by and still no estimate. On Wednesday of this week I got a voicemail that stated there was a family emergency and that they are no longer going to provide an estimate or take on my project. I initially waited over 4 weeks for CSM to come to my house for the appointment and now 15 days later they basically call and say that I am out of luck. Not a good way to treat customers. They didn't even have to create the estimate, they were going to just add to the State Farm estimate where items were missed.
