Hideaway Harbor Park

Hideaway Harbor Park is useful for accessing the Mississippi River. It has ample parking and 2 boat ramps one directly on the Mississippi and the other on Weber lake which connects to the Mississippi. There is also an accessible dock on the lake and plenty of other places to fish. If you use the vault toilet be careful. There is no playground. On this latest visit, I noticed 3 picnic tables. Great place to launch a boat and head over to alton or grafton Illinois. There is a ramp onto the river and another with a dock on a little pond with no current connected to the river. The only issue is that on 9-16-23 the channel connecting the lake to the river was pretty shallow right at the river, my sonar saw as low as 3.8 feet. My boat doesn't draft very deep, but that is cutting it close, especially with bigger heavier boats. Other than that it's a great launch point.

Seems like a decent place for access to the river but nothing much past that.
