It has been beyond difficult for me to find a dentist office in SE Missouri that wasn't 1 1/2 hours away and accepted my dental ins. I finally got HUMANA and FAMILY DENTISTRY of POPLAR BLUFF was on my list! This dental office #1Top Notch in my opinion. Every single staff member treated me with care and respect. They are very efficient with very little wait between each process and took the time with me that I needed. They made me like they truly cared about ME and the future of my teeth and my smile. I was so touched that I actually had happy tears running down my cheeks! Thank you all!!!

They totally screwed me over. I went in the first day and they gave me a quote for two bridges, a root canal, an extraction, a cap, and two cavities to be filled. After insurance they said I would have to pay 3,400. After taking a few deep breaths and deciding this would be best for my dental future I agreed and paid the 3,400. They started doing the first bridge immediately after my cleaning. (Which I thought was odd bc I have cavities in other teeth that could easily be done first) anyways the doctor knows best right?? So they did the prep for the bridge and sent me on my way with a temp bridge. Two weeks later the permanent bridge came in and they put it in. We set up another appointment and they did an extraction, root canal and the 2nd bridge prep ( all for the same three teeth). I left with a temp again. When I went back after two weeks for the 2nd permanent bridge to be put in they called me back and said I owed them 955.00 but they would take the rest of my credit of $538 from credit care and I would only have to pay $417.00 out of pocket. I wouldnt agree to anymore payments bc we already had an agreement set and yes it is estimated but $1,000+ off is not an estimate! They started to act like they werent going to put in the permanent bridge unless I made another payment but they did end up putting it in. While he was putting it in he was still asking for the payment and said I would be able to make future appointments regardless. They still are supposed to do a cap, and two fillings, which should have be done first but they say I will have to pay even more for that! They are now saying I cant make any future appointments until the balance is paid after Dr. Howie told me I would still be able to come back.
