Would rate higher, but owners of the adjacent property ruin it every time. They let their dogs run off leash and don't have good recall. They claim that they're training the dogs every time, so, "it's allowed," but they very clearly are not training them. Just using it as an excuse to get away with it. They never even say a word to the dogs until I ask them to recall their dog because either my dog or my kid are scared. Tons of poison ivy, hard to avoid- don't come in shorts.

Labarque Creek Conservation area is one of my favorite trails to walk. It's challenging. It has deep slopes and high foothills to walk. There are water features and a lot of foliage. It's quiet and never crowded. At approximately 3 miles to walk the entire loop, I can't ask for much more.

One of the best places to take a vigorous hike that we have found in the St. Louis area.

The trail is really beautiful. I hope they do some more invasives management at the start of the trail, but deeper in the forest is pretty balanced.
