Great entry point for a leisure family kayak/canoe trip. Although parking spots are limited, this may provide one of the best short trip river experiences in Northeast MO.

An easier entry point for getting to the Salt River which leads to the Mississippi River and landing around Louisiana. Count on approximately 8 miles, slower water and a lot of rowing. 8 miles took our crew about 5 hours and we were weary. We saw lots of herons, eagles, turtles and beautiful terrain. Looking for more information talk to us on a Saturday at the Bridge coffee house at 403 Georgia street in Louisiana on a Saturday morning.
