Benton Tax is the only place I'll get my taxes done. I have never been disappointed with the results, service, and professionalism of the staff. I like knowing I'm supporting a family owned and operated business, led by fantastic women!

Sadly, this company is no longer what it used to be. Poor service, lack of professionalism and a leadership group that is clearly lacking.
We had questions on our return and instead of addressing via a phone call, they demanded an in person meeting. When we asked for a call it was still denied.
When we finally got an email - the message was brash, unprofessional and short. We responded that this was our last year with them... And they decided to not compete our return.
I would not recommend this company any further after a decade of use. I have always supported small businesses - but your money is best spent elsewhere
Edit - I find the owner's response to be purposely nebulous and attempting to deflect blame so, for full transparency below is my response so others can see my commentary was not a personal attack but rather feedback on how we were treated:
I agree - the information provided is what we were looking for, however, the initial work was nothing more than box checking and for what we pay... An abysmal return on our investment with you.
I agree... Your tone represents an enormous gap in professionalism and instead feels like "us vs them" instead of you supporting us thru the process. You did not appreciate where we were coming from nor meet us where we are. Your "oh well" attitude is appalling especially given the amount of money at stake
We have been long term customers and I do assure you, that status will change. We have always felt like Benton asked us the right questions and sought to support us while also providing us key recommendations - all lacking from your communication.
You treated our questions as an inconvenience - our apologies for thinking you're an advisor to us.
Your feedback regarding the KC earnings tax is a clear indicator of how little you care about ensuring accuracy, fairness and putting us in the right financial position. You couldn't even provide us the process nor link to KC on requesting a refund.
We'll be in to sign, but understand... This is the last time. I'm disappointed in how poor your support has become. I've always supported the small business community but you are representing the worst aspects of it and reinforcing why people should go elsewhere. I'm incredibly disappointed in what this relationship has become from your side.

Can not get you your best refund,more or less dismiss you,and makes you feel like they are not working for you, but against you.When ya tell them something is not right on taxes, they treat you like your stupid instead of understanding and fixing the issue
