Star Development built our neighborhood. When we were shopping for a new home, the sign advertising the development stated pool opening summer is 2020. Still waiting.

Beware in buying a home with Star Development unless it is COMPLETELY done! Have family who went through buying a new home with them and it was the WORST experience! There were things in the contract that were supposed to be done that were still not done with the house at the closing date, and the realtor, Sheryl, is a JOKE! Nothing but a rude bully! Sad that the people within this company are so rude and somewhat lazy because they do build some beautiful homes.

This developer is replying to all negative reviews with misleading information. They say it's common practice to not put in pools until there are enough homes to support it, however, Providence Pointe has had people living there for 3 summers with no pool. We did research and asked the selling agent who pointed out the sign at the entrance. It stayed "pool coming 2021". They then changed it to 2022. Then started work on the pool only to stop and leave it overgrown with weeds. A landscape plan was approved by the city. Again, we did research to see what minimum expectations were before buying. The landscape plan that was approved by the city has not been started by the developer. We shopped other neighborhoods before buying. Most had pools and landscaping installed before the first home was built. Our neighborhood looks like an after thought. We pay good money for a home only to be mislead by what would occur. They may not have said it directly to us but the assumption was they would follow city rules and be competitive with other neighborhoods. Once they get approval and pass it off to the builder they don't care what the neighborhood looks like.
