    Straight and to the point. I received a letter from Boorkwater Management stating contractually my rent would increase by $74.00 beginning 01-01-2024. In fact, my rent increased from $411.00 to $485.00 on 01-01-2023 witch means I paid $888.00 more than I should have. Because I'm not an attorney, I wont spend the remainder of the day telling anyone to avoid doing business with this outfit.

The Brookwater owners and staff always work with honesty, integrity, kindness, are always friendly and with transparency. Brookwater continues to save us time and money. They are unequivocally the best. I highly recommend Brookwater Management.

    I believe Brookwater Management operates under unethical business practices. They were hired by my HOA to serve as property manager a year ago and their responsibilities include preparing and maintaining financial records for our HOA. Under our Bylaws, homeowners have the right to inspect financial records upon request. I, along with two other homeowners, requested 2022 financial records for inspection purposes. We were specific as to the reports requested and we were told we have the information and can easily provide it to you. Brookwater insisted on prepayment of $150 for their services in time that payment cleared the bank prior to delivering requested records. After accepting and cashing payment, Brookwater provided only a portion of the documents requested. As a result, we were unable to verify the accuracy of HOA financial reports. Brookwater knowingly failed to provide documents requested and knowingly failed to notify us of their intent prior to accepting and cashing payment. I consider this practice to be deceptive and unethical. Brookwater refuses to return the payment even though they never intended to fulfill their commitment of providing documents as they had earlier indicated.

    So far, my experience with Brookwater is exactly what you hope NOT to experience when you move into an HOA. Poor communication, no sense of client service, and certainly not an advocate for its homeowners.
