We had a tree fall against our house, a/c unit, and windows (luckily they didnt break) during a snow storm. He was quick to respond to my inquiry & was great at communicating throughout the process. The area was not an easy access, especially in snow, but he did a great job. He had a worker with him to help where needed, and he was very organized. It wasnt a lone-man haphazard operation. Branches were carefully trimmed away from the windows without incident. Great care taken to keep our house & a/c unit safe during the process. All of the branches were hauled away and the area cleaned up. Other than the disappearance of the fallen tree, there wasnt a trace they had even been there. The price was a lot better than I was expecting. A price was quoted before the process began but I half-expected the price to go up because of the working conditions and the care it took to keep the house safe. But the price was just as quoted and was very reasonable. Payment was easy. My husband and I were very impressed and happy with our experience.
Winter 2022-2023 (updated from review 3 years ago since we recently used a new service Williams Tree Service had to offer)
This past year was the first time we purchased firewood from Williams Tree Service. Im glad we did. Weve tried so many different places in the past (purchasing firewood), but weve been unhappy with the quality weve received from others. The firewood we purchased from Mr. Williams was cured well, cut into easily-stacked and perfect-sized manageable logs, no mold or fungi visible, didnt stink, and we havent burned a single log that has smoked up the place. Ive got asthma so thats important. Affordable firewood really helps us offset the cost of heating a big house. As always, we received great friendly service for a great price. We continue to use Williams Tree Service for all of our tree needs (our land has a lot of trees so maintenance is often needed). Weve used this company exclusively for the past 3 or 4 years. I highly recommend. Now that I know about the quality firewood, well be repeat customers for that as well. I dont know how to safely and knowledgeably cut our trees, or have the equipment to cut the healthy ones into logs for our fireplace, nor the desire to cure and store it all year-round.
