2 of us had jambalaya. They said they would not order again, too dry and rice puck was terrible. Gnocchi chicken carbonara and chicken picada were tasty. Great wines! Our server was great and she spoke properly. Thank you! Not "how are we and no problem". Drunken shrimp was dry! Shrimp need to be next size up so when you cook them they don't dry out. Liked the chocolate cake.

I don't normally leave reviews, but something is amiss? My wife and I have been eating at Cooper Hawk (Lee's Summit) for over 2 years, at least a couple times a month, it is 1 of our Friday Date night places we go to. I want to start off saying, the food is always "Fantastic" as well as the Service. Between the 2 of us we have tried nearly everything on the Menu, except for the Burgers (Literally everything!). This last Friday 4/19/2024, I ordered one of my favorite dinners, the Braised Short Ribs and was more than a little disappointed when the Portion was 1/2 of what it normally is? I don't know if they reduced the Portion size, (this is my go to dish) but there was ONLY 1 and 1/2 medallions of the Short Ribs, and there is normally 3, this dish is $36.00, so not cheap??? What's up? If this is the New Portion size, I will have to revaluated, was highly disappointed!
