    This hotel has bed bugs. We are Diamond members. We stayed March 21-24. I have called the hotel 3 times and contacted Hilton to no avail. The manager stated that she would have the insurance company call me to help cover the cost of mitigation in our homes because we brought them home with us and still nothing as of April 9. Anybody knows mitigation of Something like this is important to begin immediately my family is out tons of money and tons of work with no response from Hilton or Hampton

    Have had a HORRIBLE experience here. We are having our wedding nearby and have tried multiple times to set up a block of rooms for our guests. We have over 450 guests invited, all of them are from out of the area, yet the manager will only let us block off 10 rooms, possibly more in the future if we book those up. We have already booked these rooms up for close family, without ever even sending the link out to our guests. Our problem now is we cannot get ahold of anyone who can help us block off more. The managers are never in house, won't answer phone calls, won't respond to emails, after over 10 attempts to contact them on different occasions. They told us they have over 70 rooms open the night of our wedding, so clearly they just don't want our business. Will be telling everyone we know not to book a block of rooms here for any event. HIGHLY disappointed.

    BEWARE: Someone at Hampton Inn Kirksville, MO is committing credit card fraud. I know because I have been fighting it for months and just today I sent a 32 page document to my credit cards Fraud Department detailing the facts. The Guest Folio and Merchant Sales receipt that Hampton Inn provided my credit card company was full of mismatches and inconsistencies. For example, they charged a Mastercard that I do not own then tried to get that money back from my Visa. Another example, they were unable or unwilling to provide the Merchant receipt from when they claim the original charge was made so they provided a Merchant Sales receipt with a date that did not match the Guest Folio. Even more, the date on that Merchant Sales receipt did not match any dates on my credit card statement. FRAUD!!!! If you book this hotel directly or through Expedia like I did, make sure you watch your credit card statements. Better yet, do what I do and make every transaction over $1 text your cell phone. This way you have an additional paper trail if fraud is happening on your credit card. This nightmare has made me, my family and my friends hesitant to stay at any Hampton Inn or Hilton property in the future. The fraud is not worth the headache! Noteworthy details: Someone at this property is committing credit card fraud!
