Farage Tree & Stump Removal

Zero Stars! Parked their trucks blocking my entire driveway and wouldnt move, my senior citizen mother tried stopping by my house to let my dog out and was not able to. They wouldnt move until threatened with calling the police. I asked nicely several times through my security system (I wasnt home at the time) and my mother needed access to my driveway/house. They then took their heavy machinery through my yard leaving visible ruts in my lawn. When I called, the owner was condescending on the phone, tried to sound intimidating, & came out to argue when I stated that I just wanted them to know the lack in professionalism of the workers and talk to them about it. Then, he cursed and yelled very rude things towards me when he come out instead of just apologizing. I never raised my voice the entire time. Again, after blocking my entire driveway for an extended period of time, having rude workers, & putting ruts in my yard from heavy machinery, I simply called to ask them to speak with their work crew about being polite and professional. I never asked the owner to come out and be a jerk, screaming sexist profanities loud enough that another neighbor called later to see if he assaulted me or anything. This should have simply been an apology over the phone, but thats not how they operate.

This crew is amazing. Their arborist gave me an estimate and included my specific requests on it so the crew would know and comply. They showed up on a cold cloudy day and got right to work. I had a 20-25 foot tree with 4 big branches going to one large trunk removed, stump ground, branches and mulch hauled away. They also raked chips and blew my deck and street like they were never there. They did a great safe and efficient job in less than 4 hours start to finish and all for exactly the price quoted. No add ons or up charges. I highly recommend this company. If you want great work at a fair price Farage is your best bet. It was mine.

Needed an estimate for a large tree removal. Somehow two different people ended up coming on two different days. The issue is, I received two wildly different estimates. The first one was for $2800, the second was for $6700. Thats a huge difference. Also, the $6700 was not even close to the 10 other estimates I received. To me, that seems shady and like they are following no guidelines, which also makes me feel they may not have the best knowledge. Due to that, I will be moving forward with a different company. Highly suggest looking around before deciding on this company and I suggest the company look into some company wide guidelines before letting people come out with apparently random estimates.

They were fully prepared to remove a tree from the patio in my backyard, even arranging for a crane to move the limbs and the trunk over my house to awaiting employees at the street. Their service was outstanding, and I highly recommend them to my friends in Johnson County and Wyandotte County! Their rates are very reasonable, too!
