        At first they are extremely welcoming. Many in the church bring warmth. A sense of community. However I was perhaps a bit niave and missed the fact that Glenhaven is an Evangelical church. Once I discovered this, the tone and direct messaging felt as if this church was more about "changing" others rather than a safe place. I received "Biblical" messages that my soul would be damned and that i wouldn't get into Heaven unless i knew God "in the right way". Some of the leadership there can be very manipulative and make you feel uncomfortable. A 5 star reviewer here, Louie Shears, is an ex elder removed for improper conduct. Another reviewer mentioned a "grey haired lady" who is also a member of leadership. There is great potential here but has the weight of some unhealthy leaders.
