If I could write a book on how amazing everything and everyone was here I would! I never write reviews but this place deserves it! From front desk to nurses to ultra sound tech and the Dr! I wish this was an actual OB place Id be recommending them to everyone I know!!

My experience was horrible with first walking in the door by receptionist, Aykim. I understood I couldn't bring my child and told her my husband was on the way but she kept asking me the same question with when will he be there. It would have been before my appointment. I told Aykim that her energy was making me uncomfortable and her response was "this is office policy". Great, I understand that and I already told her my husband would be there soon. It upset me to the point I left and the only reason I went back (still within my appointment time) was to avoid a $50 fee for leaving. It's bad enough when you're walking into a place that is called high risk but then to be shown rudeness and no hello or welcoming words, well you're automatically setting the tone for this business that should be providing grace and patient care. My OBGYN did recommend and I'm supposed to go back for another appointment in 4 weeks but I honestly don't want to give you guys anymore of my time or money. When I go somewhere, I want to feel welcomed and cared for. Dr. Lu was beyond experienced and helpful along with the staff, after walking into the room to get my sonogram and cervix looked at. It is to bad I couldn't bypass the front desk with the receptionist entirely. This review would have been completely different. Try better :)

Edit: billing isn't the issue, and my insurance is the worst editing this to a 4 star and making sure billing knows i dont hate them. Just dont know why it took so long to fifure out hut priginal review is below this: I'm a current patient here for gestational diabetes, I have nothing ill to say about the Doctor I'm seeing; Dr. Lu, he's aces. My issue comes in with billing specifically. My husband has normal insurance and the normal insurance goes through a third party and for some reason, the amount of times I've said this, billing doesn't understand and keeps billing the wrong part of our insurance so they're classifying us as out patient even though they're in my network. So my $30 copay turns into almost a $300 visit. I've called billing on 4 occasions and when you call the answering machine says, "all calls received before 3p will be returned same business day" and my call is never returned the same business day even though I make the call before 3p. Make that make sense. I have indoor cameras in my house because I have an Autistic son and it's for his safety. The last time I made the call I did it on speaker phone so the cameras could catch that I made the call just in case they tried to tell me they didn't get my phone call again. I emailed the office after the office was closed when I didn't get a call back so there was a paper trail. I'm attaching the call log as a photo i can prove i havent received a call back recently. Any calls from the office on the WEEKEND are automated because the office is closed on the weekend. I'm frustrated, and I sound high strung; I'm pregnant (#1), but if you felt like you were getting ignored and yoinked around you would, too. The office itself is well designed and they usually get you in quickly. Lots of bathrooms inside the office and inside the building. The building is located in a nice area.

Dr. Lu is great! When he explains things to you he not only keeps the doctor jargon to a minimum because not every went to medical school or paid attention in biology, but he writes it down and draws pictures if need be to make sure you understand everything before you leave his office. He may have saved mines and my baby's life. He sent me to the hospital when he noticed I had high blood pressure (gestational hypertension) which made me a candidate for preeclampsia. The doctors there felt the same and tried to get me to deliver naturally, but when they saw my son's heartbeat kept dropping with every contraction and taking way too long to climb back up again they decided to do C-section instead. I strongly believe that Dr. Lu sending me to the hospital and the staff at the hospital saved both my son's and my life
