This organization's programs and people are a treasure for the Kansas City region. Great communication with parents, creative activities to connect kids with nature, and a welcoming & inclusive environment!

ECOS is one of the best overall programs for kids we've found yet, thoroughly positive and engaging and at a cost that cannot be beat (essentially free). Initially we tried ECOS to mix things up for our kiddo, something that go them outdoors after years of doing indoor programs. Just as we valued them getting exposure to arts and culture, we thought it was important that they learn about, and engage with, the outdoors and the natural world. The staff are engaged and positive, with a welcoming attitude that is important for kids to see and experience. Well, after many years, it's become their favorite program and they participate regularly, looking forward it starting up each season. My child's learned a lot and it's increased their awareness and curiosity of the world at large. They've met numerous new friends, plus had ample opportunities to engage with current friends in ways more similar to how it used to be (just hanging around outside, messing around). When we pick them up, they're always energized and enthusiastic, looking forward to the next session. A parent cannot ask for more than that really.

The seasonal programs for children are great. I have seen interest peek and explode in the youth participating in this program. We have recommended the program to family and classmates. There's a variety of topics the children get to learn about, explore, and discuss. In a time of digital everything, it's exciting to know programs such as this one still exist and children do in fact want to be a part of it.

Hellooo, my name is Diana Damian and I am a sophomore at Academie Lafayette. I was introduced to Green Works by my teacher and coming here has been a wonderful experience. I really loved the entrepreneur classes that I took and it helped me learn more on how to start my own business. The teachers here have been very accommodating and sweet. It was really fun and I hope you will give them a chance. Its very fun and I guarantee you will have a great time here.
