This is the worse moving company ever! I would never recommend them to anyone. I moved from South Dakota to Colorado. They were late picking up my property. On the day of pickup, the driver told me they would deliver my property on Friday of that week. I called several times the following week to see where my property was. I was given the run around. One time I was told I would get a call the next day, I'm still waiting for that call. Another time I was told my property was on the east coast, the next time I was told it was in their possession in storage. A week after I was told I'd have my property; they delivered my stuff. I moved into a brand-new apartment. They movers punched holes in the walls, scuffed up the walls and my floors. One of the movers felt it was alright to curse and swear as he unloaded my property. I have made multiple attempts to contact the movers about getting reimbursed for damaged property. It's been 3 months since my move I have sent multiple emails to them trying to get reimbursed and I have heard nothing from them.

I did not hire them personally but I was the buyers agent on a home they moved the seller out of. We gave the seller post possession so we were already closed. The sellers had moved out of city, so they trusted the movers to be at their home and properly move everything out. I was told the movers were done around 8pm. I was there first thing the next morning. First thing I noticed was huge rut marks where they obviously drove their truck through the yard. Annoying but not a huge deal. I walked in and there was water all over the kitchen floor, behind the cabinets and leaked down to the basement (luckily unfinished). They had left the fridge line leaking. After shutting off the water and getting a bucket I then realized the floors were damaged in the kitchen and all the way to the front door. At first I thought maybe just scuff marks that could be wiped away, but looking closer they were much deeper than that. Then my eyes continued to look for damage and I realized a kitchen cabinet had been damaged along with some minor scratches to the front door. All my buyers wanted was the floors fixed. At first Roy was responsive and said he would get his contractor out there. Mistakes happen so neither myself or my buyer were upset. As long as it got addressed, which is appeared it would. 3 weeks later he called and scheduled him. The guy was a no show. Myself and my client waited 3 hours. Roy rescheduled him to the next day and said he would show up. Roy did show up but again his contractor was a no show. He then said we could hire our own, and he would pay for it. He had made that agreement with the seller. So myself and the buyer got multiple quotes that ranged from $940-$1700. I sent him the $940 one. No response. I texted. I called. I called from different numbers. The seller texted and called. This went on for weeks, and to this day we have no response. The seller said they also found multiple items damaged of theirs in the move. The seller did pay for the floors so my buyer is ultimately satisfied but I would stay far far away from this company.

Roy and his crew did a great job with my move. He was responsive from the start and they were efficient, friendly, and professional on moving day. I highly recommend Midwest Movers and would use them again for my next move!

My apartment complex is currently renovating and we have to relocate for a month. My anxiety is a level 100. Midwest Movers came right in and explained what was happening and what i needed to do to facilitate the move ( yes I waited until the absolute last minute to finish packing) Roy and the men had me out of my apartment in an hour. They were very quick, extremely professional and personable. Currently, Im sitting in my living room watching them move me into my temporary apartment . My anxiety is at a minimum. Im happy. Thank you.
