only send your child here if you're willing to accept the risk of the following happening: your child being stripped naked in a regular basis your child being shackled and handcuffed your child being humiliated and told they're to blame your child being taught they are worthless liars your child being brainwashed your child being forced to eat their own vomit your child being forced to sleep in urine your child being forced to stand for 12+ hours in a day your child being intentionally sleep deprived as punishment your child being intentionally starved as punishment your child being choked, thrown, stroked, groped, spanked, and touched in horrible ways your child being force fed rotten, burnt, expired and moldy food your child losing all their human rights or sense of self your childs sense of trust in you being forever broken and make no mistake in assuming that becuase the building was renovated and the staff changed that these abuses no longer occur. there are no cameras, no documentation, and no government regulations which means they can do whatever they want and get away with it. This is still a TEEN CHALLENGE FACILITY, and because TC is a "nonprofit" religious organization they all use similar brainwashing and cult practices. to Christian parents:THERE IS NOTHING CHRIST-LIKE ABOUT THIS PLACE.

Please dont send your daughters to this place. There is a better way. The wound sending your daughter away will cause sets the stage for lifelong trauma. Add on top of that the behavior modification techniques utilized do not set them up for success in life according to ALL psychology experts. Add on top of that the abuse, and I dont use that term lightly- I mean abuse. They will say they are different and better now than they were when girls like me were in the program. Its better now bc they have better therapy. Its not. Its still the same. Dont do this to your daughters.

PLEASE watch the trailer of the documentary "The Program" at the very least before EVER thinking of sending your child to a facility like this. The amount of horrific abuse and neglect told by survivors of both this specific "academy" or any "Teen Challenge" center is heart wrenching. Please save your child by keeping them out of this place and the hands of these awful people. MANY girl have testified to being threatened if they don't smile in photos or say the correct things to their parents or parents who come tour. #Breakcodesilence
