    I have been going to KC Care for 4 years. Have always thought I was getting great health care. Karen was great, sorry, don't remember the lady at the front desk name, but great person. I started seeing Karen, and my main physician, about the first of the year of 2023. Now, I have to stop going to Karen, (Kc Care) because Karen didn't catch a major test, on a person, 50 years and older. Should have tested my PSA level, Karen. Crazy, I have prostate cancer!. Be careful of KC Care!!! To be honest, basic care, there is good, but major problem, won't put my life in there hands!!!

    The staff were all very friendly to me, however, trying to get ahold of anyone when youre not there is impossible. They didnt send my prescriptions and it took me DAYS to get them sent, and Ive been waiting over a month for them to send a referral with several unanswered emails. Im on Medicaid so I dont have much of a choice on where to go for carebut if you have a choice, dont go here. Youll be let down and uncared for.

    Im only giving this location 1 star because I cant give ZERO! This location is terrible. The nurse practitioner and staff on site are lazy and have no compassion or respect towards patients and their time. I had to return to this location 3x just for a simple MLA (Medical leave absence) form to be completed by the staff. The receptionist , Nurse Practitioner and office manager put us off numerous times, ate lunch and laughed while we sit waiting in an almost EMPTY lobby for 2 hours. Im still not certain if our treatment was due to my client being African American, because they did NOT care. This location is predominantly Hispanic and the staff are Hispanic as well. If you are a person or color please do not visit this location. Go to midtown or the Research campus. Ive had a good experience there.

    They are unprofessional based on the fact that I changed my insurance and they did not take it into account since they sent the bill to my previous insurance after rectifying and asking several times if it was clear, in addition to sending me a bill of more than $400 for just requesting my medicines that they also never sent me and to draw some blood, I also waited for results from another clinic that were sent there and instead of calling me within the required waiting time (7 business days) they made me call about 9 times transferring me for the appropriate staff according to them and the call was only cut off after finally communicating. Difficult to communicate with staff, I recommend not visiting them if you really have a serious health problem or not.
