I had Shawn from Wilkins at my home today . They were recommended by my next door neighbor as he happened to know they installed my unit back in 2004. I left them a voicemail and headed for work . Within about 1-2 hours they were already at my house . My AC unit is old and due to be replaced within the next few years . They made a real effort to get it up and running and told me I can expect to get another year or two from the unit , I highly recommend them for your AC and furnace needs. As a bonus they also cleaned out my dryer vent for free. I previously had Dor Mar out to my house . The technician spent about 20 minutes outside, told me I needed a new compressor, there was no refrigerant available for my unit , and for $5000 I could replace it with a new one. During Wilkins service call they replaced refrigerant, cleaned up the compressor, and got the unit performing much better. Wilkins has earned my business when the time comes to replace my current unit. They stand by their work even if its a nearly 20 year old install !
