We have been a Bri-Ton customer since moving into the area eight years. Our furnace stopped operating during the first month (January). It was particularly cold that evening and we called Bri-Ton for assistance. They sent someone right away and we had heat again very soon after his arrival. Since that time we have used them for our yearly service inspections for both heating and air conditioning. When we decided to replace our electric water heater with a gas tankless one, they were who we called. We purchased the type that provides as much hot water as needed for as long as needed. While we would recommend this particular water heater, ours started to not function properly the latter part of August. We looked at the owner's manual and discovered we needed a part to control the water temperature. Naturally, we called Bri-Ton. We were advised by the receptionist that it was either that part or, possibly, one other one. She said she would order the parts right away. We were placed on the schedule for a date almost two weeks later to allow time for the parts to arrive at which time he would also due our semi-annual inspections. That day came and we were looking forward to taking hot showers again. No such luck. The service tech advised us that he would be back when the part came in. So much for us waiting so long for the part from our original service call. When we didn't hear back from them in another week, we called again. We were told they couldn't have ordered the part until the tech came out and inspected it. So much for the part being ordered when we placed our first call. Traci assured us she would call to check on our part. That was working on three weeks ago. We have been contacting them regularly since then. Supposedly, the part has been on a truck for delivery every day since our first contact with the tech and he will be out the same day to install it. Now it was been almost TWO MONTHS without hot water. You get tepid water with bursts of cold water or just cool/cold water for your showers. Don't call these people for service. Apparently, the residential side of the business is not important to them any more.
