Recommend!!! recommend!!! Great choice! The home itself was beautiful to look at on the outside and in. Very clean and accommodating to all possible needs. I was able to feel relaxed in the room immediately. Very clean space, well taken care of property. Large and open spaces throughout the home. Many guest bathrooms, such a beautiful experience. I live locally, I will stay again!

Was closer than I expected to the art museum, the contactless check-in was simple, and they responded quickly to emails with questions I had. The hotel was quiet, comfortable, and very clean.

Disappointing Boutique Hotel that is charming but has some run-down features in the room and NOT worth the money. Should have been sooooo much better. Would NOT recommend for the money. There is no staff on property (which they let you know about) and there is an emergency number but the problems were not emergency worthy. The Good: GREAT location. Walking distance to the art museum. Easy parking. Attractive building and shared spaces. Engaging gallery room on the main floor. Light-filled comfortable sunroom. Comfy bed. The Bad: Should be more upfront about lack of elevator and just how many steps. I use a cane and can use stairs and willing booked on the third floor. I would have appreciated knowing that there were double flights for each floor. I travel a lot and I find more places address things that hinder mobility more directly. I stayed in The Crestwood on the 3rd floor. Attractive decor. Soft mattress and nice sheets. Very disappointing in the details. The carpet was old with visible stains. The carpet where is adjoined to bathroom tile was pulling up and unraveling. Missing art/paint off the walls (could see the hanging hooks) behind where one painting should have been was a large swath of missing pulled off paint. TV did not work. Even using the directions, both my husband and I tried. Keurig leaked from the bottom all over the desk. Coffee creamer in the room curdled when out into the coffee. No napkins or paper towels in the downstairs coffee bar in the Dining Room. So as you can see, nothing huge, but for $230 a night Id expect it to not have a lot of rundown features. Just a major disappointment.

Tracy,Thank you for leaving your feedback, as we are always looking for room for improvement. I'm very disappointed to hear that your stay was less than satisfactory. We do our best to notify our guests that there is no elevator onsite, and I do sincerely apologize if this came as a surprise to you. With this being an older historic home, there is no elevator leading up to the 2nd and 3rd floor rooms, and requires using stairs to access those rooms. We will certainly look into some carpet cleaning and touch ups in the room as well! We have recently taken down our previous exhibition and are working with a new artist to fill the empty spots on the walls in the room, and I have been having my maintenance team touch up the paint where the old artwork was hung, as well as finalizing a new artist to fill the blank areas. We have not had any issues with the TV or Keurig in the room previously or from guests in the room after your departure, and are inspect and confirm those amenities are working properly prior to our guests arrival. It may have just been an situation of the TV simply needing a reboot, however I will certainly look into those and confirm they're all working as normal. Our creamer is always replaced and restocked after our guests departure, and frequently ordering new batches for inventory, so I'm surprised to hear that, but do apologize for the inconvenience! We do also have linen napkins in the dining room for our guests to use, but I can certainly add some paper towels or napkins as well. Lastly, I did want to note that with this weekend being Super Bowl weekend, our dynamic pricing was a bit higher for that particular weekend, and this particular room was priced at $174 prior to the tax and cleaning fee. Again I greatly appreciate you leaving your feedback as we greatly value our guests input, and we will be addressing these issues!
