SpringHill Suites by Marriott Kansas City Northeast

We stayed for one night while driving through. The room was clean and the trundle bed was really nice - it's a West Elm trundle with an actual twin size mattress. We had one kid sleep on the sofa, which also is a twin size when the back cushions are removed, and one on the trundle and it was perfect. I'm deducting a star for the breakfast because there were no breakfast meats so there was no protein my kids would eat. But overall it was a great hotel and we'd stay again next time we're driving through.

The best Marriott Ive stayed in to date in the U.S., Ive stayed in a few dozen Marriotts around the U.S. the last few years. Staff is friendly and responsive to customer requests. Multiple staff do a terrific job keeping the common areas spotless. The rooms are larger than usual and they are nice looking. Lots of parking, easy to leave the hotel and get to whatever you want to do. We visited when the two amusement/water parks, Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun, were closed. Guessing this hotel is packed when theyre open. This hotel is ideally situated if heading here for those two parks. Lots of fast food and some non-chain restaurants easily accessible from the hotel. The continental breakfast is above average for a Marriott, small things make it better. Namely, a few atypical higher quality breakfast items are available every morning and the hotel has a few more things to put on your breakfast items to break away from the same old same old stuff.

worst hotel experience I have had here in 2 years of consistent marriott stays. Book elsewhere if you care about your nightly sleep.

The bed is comfortable and the bathroom is stunning, however the sound proof is terrible, I could hear my next door talking and the family live above me probably got kids, they are running around stomping non stop at night couldnt fall asleep last night called the front desk about it, they said they will send security, but after 30 minutes, it doesnt really change anything. I guess if you want to live here require the top floor there are.a lot of kids.
