Elder Care of Kansas City

We contacted Elder Care of Kansas City for in-home care per recommendation by A Place for Mom. Kevin responded quickly and met with us at my parent's home to understand the needs and then created a care plan for dad. Kevin also provided recommendations on things to do in my parent's home to better help dad with his care. Adrian was the Elder Care caregiver who provided in-home services (including bathing, dressing, and light housekeeping). Mom and dad were very pleased with the care and services by Adrian. Adrian was conscientious, caring, and performed all services requested. Kevin was also very helpful working with me and the LTC insurance company regarding LTC claims. We highly recommend Elder Care as an in-home care provider.

My experience with Elder Care was exceptional. I felt very comfortable with the caregivers from Elder Care. He required almost complete care.

Very unprofessional with new ownership. Expect notice for changes from family but send random caregivers without reciprocating.

If you don't care how your parents are treated, this is your place!! After one of their aids try to run me over on my front lawn, after getting fired!! I should have known, but management assured me I would have no more problems!!Boy were they wrong!! Aid were late, left early, ignored plea's from my mother because what was on their phone was more important!! The final straw was when Keven called at 5:00 Pm just after the office closed to tell me NO ONE WAS COMING TO WATCH MY MOTHER!!! Since it was after 5 the office was closed so I would just have to leave a message!! Leaving me high and dry!! The Aid was going to a doctors appointment that day. Problem is management knew about the appointment for a month, but did no planning!!! If you want substandard care, rude customer service from some of the people in management!!! This is your place. A dumpster Fire!!
