My mother and life partner were both here at the end, and both received wonderful care. Everyone was extremely compassionate and helpful. They allowed me to bring my partner's and my dog while I was there with her, and it was a great comfort to me. They also have food for the visitors while you stay with your loved one. God bless them!

The KC Hospice and Palliative Care team was very good to my family. They served our family in excellence and care for almost 2 years while we navigated through the ups and downs of my grandson's health and we are so grateful to have had them come to our home, support us in hospital visits, and more. I simply cannot say enough good things about this company and the nurses at the hospice house. Not only did they provide the best care for our mother we could have imagined they also made sure the rest of the family was cared for as well. We will be forever thankful for everyone there for making the last month of moms life as comfortable as it could be.

Although my Dad was only on hospice for about 3 days, the care team was compassionate and comforting. My Dad declined really quick and when I called KC Hospice and told them my situation, they had the admitting nurse at my home that same day. She comforted me as I cried while signing the paperwork. She then had the comfort kit at my door within the hour and a hospital bed delivered the next morning. It was exceptional! When my Dad passed, the nurse that came brought me great peace in that moment with how she humanized him by running her fingers through his hair, although he was already gone. Her name is Cappi and I will never forget the impact she left on me on the worst day of my life. After the fact, I now work with Joel as part of grief support. He is wonderful and I love that they provide this service. Their care doesnt stop when your loved one dies. I highly recommend KC Hospice and Palliative Care.

My wife's brother passed away on 9/15/23 of non specific cancer. When it got worse, it happened rapidly. We had to move him to a closer to us family member where he was on the couch a few days while we were waiting for his doctors consultation, at which point, the doctor recommended hospice. My wife called Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care. They were there in 2 days. Brought an adjustable bed to make him comfortable. Cheryl, the nurse, directed me on how to better care for him and his condition. Tina, cleaned him up, bath, shaving, etc.Cappie, was so friendly, she made Mike laugh, and I got a picture of him smiling a last time. ALL 3 LADIES WERE AMAZING!!!! Loss of life is part of life, but it is absolutely reassuring that there are good people out there to help us when we are in need. Thank you so much for everything! My family thanks you as well! My brother in law name was Mike A. Moore. He was 63 and is missed daily.
