I first met Coulton after someone recommended him to finish building a tool cabinet that my late husband had started. This project was very personal and important to me. After our initial meeting, I knew he would do a wonderful job. He is not only an amazing woodworker but one of the kindest people I know. He did such a beautiful job imagining what Johns vision was and constructing it beautifully, the way it was meant to be. I cried when I saw it and will be forever grateful to Coulton for his kindness and attention to detail. John loved Japanese joinery and Coulton incorporated that in his cabinet. I feel like John would be very impressed, and love how it turned out. It now holds some of Johns precious tools and displays them beautifully. Everything Ive seen Coulton make is not only expertly crafted, but most likely has a story behind it. He is a special person and puts a lot of thought and care in his work.

I really enjoyed working with Coulton on this desk, from our first conversation with my pencil sketch to the final installation. I appreciate the way he let me drive the design, but also provided "guardrails" so I never made a bad decision. His design instincts and his craft are both on-point. Also, he has wicked CAD skills. Truly inspiring designs and top quality craftsmanship. Coulton's attention to detail is excellent. I'm an avid woodworker and know good work when I see it. I enjoy my StudioBecker table every day and get loads of admiring comments. Service: Custom furniture
