    I was overcharged by an online company and filed a dispute about the matter. After their investigation they concluded that there was nothing else that could be done about the matter, when I asked for documentation supporting their conclusion the documentation provided the wrong billing address, and an inaccurate transaction amount. When I called about this discrepancy they still said there is nothing they can do and to contact the merchant, but the merchant is fraudulent. I asked for a thorough investigation to be reconsidered and they denied my request and stated it is a closed matter and final decision. A quick glance at the documentation provided me sufficient evidence to know that a thorough investigation was not conducted. I have banked with this bank for years and I am a very unsatisfied customer. I do not recommend this bank to anyone. A customer who entrust a financial institution with their hard earned money should be valued and their request should be taken into consideration. I am highly disappointed with this matter. Even more so disappointed at the fact that I was unable to contact the direct employee who made the conclusion (Nicki Gunlock). Instead she would only speak to other coworkers and relay information through them rather than directly to me. When trying to contact the headquarters about this matter no one would answer my call and I have yet to receive a call back after leaving a voicemail.

    I paid for electronic funds transfer and 3 business days later still nothing done after I was in Boardwalk office 2 hours. Returned and took a Cashiers Check. Worst banking experience ever. But Dickinson Financial operates it. Check Dickinson Financial as to why the US Govt took their Bank Midwest away from them and transfered all bad loans to their Armed Forces Bank. I should have checked on Academy Bank before making a major deposit. I just did it because handy inside WalMart at Boardwalk, Kansas City, MO. Do not walk, run as fast as possible from Academy Bank. I have original documents to prove my allegations against Academy Bank at Boardwalk, KCMO. I live near the Dickinson Family when the resided in my hometown of Chillicothe, MO and well remember the government taking their Bank Midwest locations which are operated by other owners.

    Seriously worst bank in history. Their own people don't know that they allow people to cash post dated checks. They charge to get a bank statement from your own account!! This bank is so ridiculous. If Spirit airlines were a bank, they would be this bank. Bottom of the barrel for banking. As soon as I'm back in KC, I'm getting my money into another bank. I would never recommend this bank to anyone. Literally uneducated people trying to act like customer service representatives! I moved into new condo and was leaving town so I gave my landlord post dated checks for 3 months and Academy bank took them all at once and let her cash them immediately in December when they were dated Jan and February. They nickel and dime you to death. DO NOT BANK HERE.. GO to Commerce or any place. Academy Bank is worse than Bank of America.. literally worst bank in town! The entire nation is trying to go green. This bank makes us pay to look at our bank statements digitally! Online!! Unbelievable. The govt wants us to stop with the paper, this bank requires it or pay for your statements. Its completely backwards in this day and age... Charging for your statements that are online .....for free!! So crazy!! .. not asking for print outs.. literally online. Unbelievable.
