Fellowship Kansas City

Im having troubles with my car so I decided to try a church closer to my home this week and when I arrived at fellowship Kansas City they were all very nice and welcoming and then during worship songs pastor Tyler came to my row and moved everyone away from me. It was even taken to an extreme of moving a family into a row of seats that did not even have enough seats for their family. The church was crowded and I decided to give it some time to see if maybe he was trying to make room for a family coming in. I waited through two songs and noone sat with me. I was literally uninvited from the couch so I walked out and as I walked out everyone I passed made sure to tell me *bye" very politely of course. They even very quickly directed me to the children's worship center to get my son. It is so sad that people act like this. It really just breaks my heart that a pastor will be so rude. This is exactly the type of thing that gives Christians a bad rep. I know that this is man's flaw and not Gods but I can see how this kind of thing happening repeatedly could make someone lose their faith. Just.... do better. Jesus loves all of us and if that is a house of God then we're all invited. What does it matter that I'm not a member? Guess it wasn't where I wanted to be anyway. Such an amazing church! My husband and I have been attending for almost 5 years, the community is great and the Word of God is taught! Would definitely recommend checking it out!

Wes preaches straight from scripture. There is a good mix of young couples and mature Christian couples, good fellowship with no pressure.
