Davids Bridal requires a scheduled appointment for alterations and payment day of alterations. We had an appointment scheduled Sunday at 11:30 for my daughters wedding dress alteration. We arrived 15 minutes early and were told they were running a little behind. When it got closer to noon we let the person you check in with for the appointment know we had some place we needed to be at 2pm. She said it wouldnt be much longer. 12:30 my daughter was taken to the alteration area. She waited for a room to change into her dress, and then had to wait for a place to stand on their stage for the alterations. We saw the person assigned to do her alterations once. She went off to work with other customers. Chelsea was working with another customer when she heard us discussing our 2pm appointment and how we were going to have to cancel. When she finished with her customer, she started working on the alterations for my daughter. It was almost 1pm when the alteration process started and 2:30 when we paid. When we discussed this with the store manager, she said they do not contact their customers to inform them their appointment will be late or to offer to reschedule. As for my daughter, her mom and sister live over 1,000 miles away. We also were unable yo attend a non refundable event that was scheduled and paid for since December. Your time is not valued or important to Davids Bridal just your money.
