Academy Bank

I'm writing this review on behalf of my parents. They have had nothing but issues with this bank since opening the account. Academy Bank CONSTANTLY processes transactions, then puts the transaction total back into your bank account, then removes it AGAIN. So you literally never know how much money you have or don't have in your account. One minute your transaction is processed, then it's not, then it is. It's absolutely RIDICULOUS. They also CHARGE YOU to have a savings account. A literal fee just to have a savings account. There are plenty of banks that DON'T charge you any type of fees. Academy Bank also takes it upon themselves to transfer money from your checking account to your savings account WITHOUT your knowledge; which in turn causes you to overdraft or your payment to bounce because the money you thought was in your checking account is now in your savings account. I would NEVER use this bank. EVER. Save yourself time and hassle and stress by choosing a different bank.

My husband went here today and they didn't want to open him a bank account the reason why I don't know. I called and asked what you needed he said a drivers license which he has so idk what the problem was. He also asked if he needed a debit card I mean you need a debit card linked to a bank account i would think so...so idk what whats going on with the individuals working there. Racist much.
