If you only had time to visit one store during "First Fridays" Rustic Vintage Rose should be your destination... I have come to first Friday's the last three months and this store is the one I make sure I don't miss. The owner (Buffy) is one of the most friendly you will ever encounter. The store is always organized and easy to navigate and literally has the best prices and some of the best quality of any store down here

I will preface this with: I usually very much dislike antique stores. I LOVE this store! They do a great job of having a lot of quality options/furniture/clothing, and best of all, they also have different vendors that create cute decorations for the various holidays throughout the year. I was just able to go back again this year (October 2022) on First Weekends in West Bottoms, and they had AMAZING Halloween decorations. Reasons why I love this place: 1) they have such great stuff--not only furniture (which is great), but I've also gotten some clothing and the decorations that I mentioned above; 2) everyone there is super helpful if you have questions or need any help; 3) they have a man who sells amazing coffee in the back of the store in case you need a pick me up; 4) they put up their inventory on Facebook before the weekend so that you can glance through to see if you want some of their stuff...and the list goes on! Thanks Rustic Vintage Rose for making me think differently about vintage stores! :)

The best place to buy antiques in Kansas City and the staff has true southern hospitality. The items I purchased made my trip from Texas memorable, thanks to the southern belles who waited on me.
