        Frog legs were under cooked. Oysters aren't fresh. They are served on reusable shells. Gumbo wasn't really gumbo. It definitely wasn't made with a ruox. It was a clear soup and not a dark brown gravy like a gumbo should be. Got home my girlfriend spent the night getting sick in the bathroom. This is the second time in a row that I've gone here with someone and they've gotten sick after eating there. I will never eat here again and I don't recommend eating here! You won a gumbo cook off 20 years ago? Maybe it's time to make some changes? And the shells you serve your oysters on are not the original shells. They can be purchased on Amazon!

        Started simple with stuffed shrimp appetizer. Smaller than I imagined but delicious just needed more than 5 little ones. Burger super juicy the lady said it was yummy. And a good salad, also a bit small but still filling with the sides of delicious garlic bread. Thanks for the quick response! We didn't even go into the rest of the restaurant but we already said we'll definitely be back!

      So sorry for your bad experience Jeremy. That is not our norm. The oysters are fresh. We pre-shuck them and send them out in there original shell. And our gumbo took first place at our gumbo cook-off 20 years ago. The recipe has never changed. I'm sure we can meet your expectations with one of our many bragged about dishes if given the opportunity.

      Thanks Jay for the positive words. And point well taken on the stuffed shrimp. I will personally review that appetizer. Our costs have been up & down in the seafood market and keeping on that roller coaster can is a full time job by it's self. Thanks again and hope to see you back soon.
