Plaza Motel

I honestly dont know what to say about this place other than I Paid for a room here for my daughter as she arrived from out of town last week and was left very disappointed as the nasty, unprofessional behavior from the front desk clerk upon check in.. . Mind you, I already paid for the room online through agoda (excellent booking agency, by the way), so all I needed was the room key. I was informed I could not check in until I paid a deposit for the dog in my car (the dog was just a passenger, not an occupant). This created an issue as the lady said she couldn't rent me the room I already paid for... the hotel canceled my reservation with agoda and kept my refund.

Rooms very clean comfortably, i dont know way around, but pewtty sure i wasnt on out skirts and felt safe, parking lot tight for truck and trailer but off the street and i could see it, not bad prices for room

It's only day one but so far so good. My room is clean and bathroom is also clean. Plus only a $10 fee for my dog. I'll keep you posted if I stay longer than I am planning. To see if my experience is still going good Walkability: A few minutes walk to the mall and other places to shop.

Worse motel in Joplin Rooms: Not worth it and you definitely will not get your deposit and if you have someone pick you up they will say it's guests and the rooms was very nasty blood on the sheets Safety: No deposit returned Fights out side Refused to let me get a different room even though it was nasty Food & drinks: Vending machine stole our money she refused to return my money or soda

Prepare to pay and if you decide not to pay more you lose. I decided not to stay when they wanted to upcharge deceitfully and they kept my money even though I didn't stay there. Bad ethics here.
