Northpark I & II Apartments

I'll give this place 1 star for being in a quiet area. Otherwise seriously avoid this place unless you have no other options. It's outrageous the lack of property care, customer service, and overall health of the complex and it's apartments. I had no choice when I moved here but you do, avoid it.

This place is a joke, lived there for a year and they never respond to anything you need help with and way over priced for what your getting, place was fine when we first moved in but the new owners are TERRIBLE! We wanted our deposit back and they said they couldnt give it to us because the apartment needed repainted and carpet replaced but we had proof that the apartment looked like that when we first moved in and they still denied, we paid $800 a month for a 1 bed 1 bath which is ridiculous!I would never ever recommend this place to anyone I would rather sleep in my car than the Northpark apartments! And to show you that they are ripping you off, we stay at airport landing apartments and they are so much nicer and way more helpful!!!! We now pay $900 for a 3 bed 2 bath with a laundry room!

EDIT TO SAY. My apartment was shot up by the neighbors playing with a shot gun in the mirror. Claimed to be cleaning the weapon while it was loaded and misfired. So after months of false reports and harassment by the lady down stairs then a bullet flying through my bathroom and bedroom within inches on my child I requested to be relocated to a different apartment. I was told no and that I would pay a penalty for breaking my lease and would be required to pay a completely new deposit on the new apartment I said that was unacceptable and served a lease termination worded as if I requested it. I have 3 children. The one that was almost shot is 8 and special needs. He is still having issues with what happened on January 19 2024. He wetting himself instead of using the second bathroom if the main is being used. He's having nightmares. We are in the process of therapy because he is saying concerning things about the situation. And they do not care. Kaleb Marti and his business is corrupt. He's not an entrepreneur he's a thief. To top it off. They lied on my credit report on how much my rent is. Cuz I sure as hell am not paying 875 a month. It's 995 plus 40 for water. Horrible. Worst place I have ever lived. And I've lived in some jank places. Changed my apartment more than once. Raised the price repeatedly before move in. Claimed apartment was moved in ready. When I looked at it I said no way. Needs cleaned the floor needs fixed. Knew I HAD to be moved in by the 1st of the month. Never fixed the floor just covered it. Never cleaned just painted everything in latex paint. I pay 1040 for a broken dirty apartment infected with bugs. Not like I can move. With the 200$ utilities when I damn near live in the dark. I can't save up to get out.

$1000 per month for a one bedroom and we have ZERO PRIVACY monthly inspections of closets and EVERYTHING PLUS FINES.I WOULD RATE 0 OUT OF 10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. PLEASE IM BEGGING U STAY AWAY FROM SUNNYVALE INVESTMENTS/LEASE JOPLIN/ NORTHPARK APARTMENTS
