The emergency room, what a nightmare!! The last 3 times I've had to go I'm like these ppl are very unprofessional. I think most of them need to go back to school so they can actually know what's wrong with ppl and learn how to really be doctor's not play like there in a lead role for the show scrubs and those are nurses, and techs right? Not dramatic actresses. The dark hair lady in her 50s or so was very nasty alone in the room. Think God I went an got checked out somewhere else where I actually got real help!! The ambulance ppl don't even recommend this er bahaha

Rn, Ellie was wonderful. My five year old was in the hospital today very sick and very scared. She made him feel comfortable, talked to him so kind and even let him put on gloves to help her take swab tests. She was very patient with us and very helpful.

First off, your hospital entrance is atrocious. If you are coming in to visit a patient, you must pass through the ER waiting room. These poor people are feeling their worst but have to be subjected to public scrutiny by any one who walks into the doors. I feel this might even fall under a HIPA violation. The care in ICU was excellent but after being moved to a regular floor, there was little attention to the family member there, in as much as there was a problem with him getting dehydrated.

My husband was sent here for an intestinal bleed. They were supposed to repair it. Instead they let him refuse medical treatment when his mind was impaired. The did not call me on this decision and when I got there he was barely coherent. I asked him if he wanted let go and he said no. The head nurse asked him if he wanted treatment and he said yes 4 times. The ethics committee met cause they did not want to sue. They would not change their mind even though he did. So far now he has been clinging to life for 2 days. No one has apologized for taking precious time from me and my family. They are only concerned with covering their mistake. It was documented with his primary care Dr. And the Dr. S in Columbia and the ER in Rolla and at both nursing homes he was at that his mind was not right. They said he was lucid to answer questions so he knew enough to make decisions. He did not want to die. He told them he wanted to make medical decisions when I got there but they didn't wait or call. We had been married for 30 years and instead relied on his daughter who had only been in his life for the past year. They placed her above every time. Don't bring your loved ones here unless you want to help them die.
