Living near Helias is a nightmare. There isn't enough parking for the students so they park all over the residential streets blocking driveways not parking close enough to the curbs. The students throw trash in people's yards. Hit parked cars and leave. Calling the school is a temporary solution to a continuing problem that gets old and doesn't resolve the real issues. The students speed drive recklessly and don't obey traffic laws.

I have always said that Helias Staff and students were rude, disrespectful and judgmental. However, that was always over looked. It is what it is, ya know. However, after reading and hearing about the willingness to tell a student not to return after Christmas break because she has Down Syndrome is beyond appalling. She has had a routine daily in this Catholic school. Been a cheerleader. And an incredible student all around!! And since it doesnt meet your vision, you just want her to not return after first semester??? Get outta here!! So, since you have a vision so high, why are you not asking the rude and disrespectful individuals not to return. Whether it be staff and/or students? That to me is a black eye for the school. I genuinely hope Helias School district reconsiders their disgusting decision.

Discriminatory administration, not the inclusive Christian environment youd expect from a private Catholic school.

Heartbroken over decisions made regarding the special needs program. UnbelievableHow do you just drop a beautiful, thriving young person halfway through the school year!!! God help you all. Shame on you.
