They sent a letter basically stating that due to rising costs, they are adjusting their pricing. According to the letter, the adjustment would be approximately 20% for returns, with some additional fees added for different in person reviews.
I thought no big deal, inflation is affecting everyone, so I dropped off my W2. When my return was complete, they charged me 50% more than last year for a single federal and state return.
No issues with the the staff, they're really nice, but if you're considering Martin this year, especially if your a returning customer, ask up front about their tax prep fees.
