        Do not bank with Hawthorn. They'll up and close your account without any notice. No phone call, no email, etc. One day before my direct deposit was about to be deposited in the account, they deleted it for "suspicious activity." I even secure messaged them and told them what happened but they cancelled my account. I just called the bank and they're keeping it cancelled. Stay away.

        Ive recently called in with a problem I had and Kori(sorry if the spelling is correct incorrect) helped me and way that actually made me feel like I was a person and not talking to a machine. This just makes it feel more welcome and now I suggest them others due to this.

        Everyone I have dealt with at Hawthorne Bank are such wonderful people. The service is great Ive never had any problems. And everyone is always so cheerful and happy to help. Cheri, Kori and Melanie are the best!
