Wonderful location! House was very clean, and comfortably held 8 women here for a girls weekend. Breakfast vouchers provided a lovely breakfast at several locations. The host was helpful and available to answer any questions. Plenty of towels, hair dryers...etc. in the bathrooms. Coffee maker and coffee provided. We rented the entire house, but were disappointed to find that there was not one piece of tableware in the kitchen. Not a plate, bowl, utensil, or piece of silverware. Cooking is not permitted at this location, but with a grocery store a block away, we had purchased snacks. No knife available to cut a piece of fruit, no bowl or plates for chips and salsa. Not even a spoon to stir coffee. Common items we assumed would be there, such as a can opener, serving spoon or a dish cloth were not there.
The host was very kind, she quickly brought us enough essentials to get us through our stay. If you are looking for something similar to a hotel room with just a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot, this is a great place to stay.

Great location, within walking distance to many local attractions. Rented a room for a girl's weekend. No other guests rented, essentially giving the house to us. We stayed in the Lewis and Clark Suite on the main level. It was a nice large room with a private bath. The home is older, but I loved the character and charm of the place.
Linda, the host, was friendly, helpful and made the best peanut butter M&M cookies. Only complaint was she only left one cookie per guest.
We received a breakfast voucher each morning, which allowed us to try two of local eateries. Both were good, but definitely preferred Stomping Grounds over Wurst Haus. Will definitely stay again!

Awesome place and service! Linda is the best hostess and made us feel so welcome. We came to Hermann for our honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The 2nd street house was very comfortable and in a great location. Lots of opportunities to walk to different parts of town due to its central location. Definitely recommend staying here or at any of the other bed and breakfasts run by Linda and Olan!
