Children's Dental Zone

THE WORST MISCOMMUNICATION PLACE EVER !

Very rude office staff. My children have been going to the dental zone for years. They charge $63 if you cancel but if they cancel its no repercussions. They canceled my appt prematurely due to an insurance company change with the same company I have been working for years. I called and verified the active insurance myself. The lady in the office Donavan told me we don't have time for that so you are going to have to reschedule. I made this appt months ago on a day that was convenient for us. They have very little compassion and act like they are too busy to take care of a patient that has been a patient for years

It only takes a second for a company to lose a client and that's what just happened. I actually loved the dentist she was great with my child on her first visit last year. However, today I was called 10 minutes before the appointment start time and rudely told by a secretary that because I did not update my daughters insurance before the visit she would not be seen today. Even though I was 2 blocks away with the current insurance. Which had not changed company's just plans. She claimed insurance cannot be verified before the visit even though I know that dental insurance can be verified at any point before, during, or after a visit. It was unappreciated because I missed the email asking for updated forms but, it would have been nice to receive a call maybe the next day after the forms were sent and I did not reply. Perhaps good practice would have been to call and verify insurance the next day, not 10 minutes before her start time. I will find my child a new dentist.

Each assistant I have met at this establishment was a wonderful soul, its sad to say that Dr. Candy is a bipolar supervisor who does not now how to treat her staff. She has lost so many wonderful employees due to her bringing her miserable attitude into the workplace and not treating everyone equally. She will hire your kids only to begin to mistreat them due to her insecurities. This is why black businesses dont excel. We will definitely be following up with a lawyer regarding her behavior and I would really like to slap her on behalf of my child and the way she has treated and talked to her but it will be handled by the higher power. She is a self centered narcissist. Bills are not being paid, product standards are not being met and she doesnt even care that she ridicules her staff infront of patients. Just sad!!!
