        I joined a captive insurance group underwritten by Vanliner, for a group of FedEx and Amazon contractors. The experience was absolutely terrible. The inflate the cost of all claims. I was constantly fighting with adjusters to reduce the cost of claims. We like to continue to pay our employees to reduce the cost of claims, which should make us an ideal client for any insurance company. However, they did everything in their power to drive up the cost of claims. My ex-mod went from .59 to 1.2 in 1 year with minimal claims. They have cost me so much money as a result in future premium payments. Well, my mistake, I ran away from Vanliner as quickly as I could. Now 3 years later, I'm fighting to get my deposits back. They claim they send a check for $17K, they send $5k. If you go with Vanliner, hire an attorney too. You will need them.
