        This trail is somewhat tough, but good if you're training for climbing / rough rocky terrain. There are occasional trail runs / endurance events hosted here

        A hidden gem between bustling cities that's a moderate hike. It's at the end of a road of campsites and very low-key with amenities, but not busy, even in the evening. There is only a single port-a-potty; I wish areas like these would just put in a composting toilet. Parking: Parking is a turn-around circle at the end of the drive. Restrooms: Port-a-potty Dog-friendliness: People walk dogs here; watch for poop on the trail.
