      image Was told I could try their internet with no risk for 1 week. If canceled, I would have no charge. I canceled within 5 days. While on the phone canceling, I was reassured I would have no bill. 6 months later a collection agency is calling me about an outstanding bill from att. Att never tried to contact me about the outstanding bill themselves before sending it to a collection company even confirmed this from an att representative. How can a company that has all my information not contact me about an outstanding bill before sending it to a collection company. After 3 hours on the phone with att and collection company my only choice is to pay it so my credit score doesn't drop.
